Choice of Management Style
Style choices range from autocratic through democratic. The exact style your
team adopts depends on the team makeup.
Team Organization
The organization of a team usually refers to what roles people take on and
how the roles are assigned. Various roles to consider include:
- Leader. Serves as focal point for activities and direction.
- Spokesman. Handles public information and interaction.
- Chief designer.
- Lead programmer.
- Specialist programmer.
- SQA manager.
- Webmaster.
- Documenter.
Choice of Life Cycle Model
Your choice of life cycle model can change as your work progresses. However,
you should have some idea at every point of how to describe your life cycle
model. Life cycle models to consider include:
- Waterfall.
- Rapid prototyping.
- Incremental.
- Fountain.
- Spiral.
- Combination of the above.
