Hula at the Mission Houses Museum

We met our friend Faye at the Mission Houses for a presentation of hula, oli, and mele. Andrea, Becky, and I went early to assist with setup and we stayed late to put the chairs away.

After helping to set up the chairs and so on, we got a bite to eat and a beer. Photo by Becky.

Alan and Terry worked the bar. Willis, as host, directed patrons. Andrea and I had helped set up the bar and audience chairs earlier.

Becky (behind the canopy upright) went to the lawn to photograph us.

Opening 'oli.

Andrea introduced the Mele Kuali'i.

The hula performers came on stage during Andrea's introduction.
