White Black 1. e4 Nc6 2. d4 d5 3. exd5 Qxd5 Pushing past the queen pawn is also tenable for white but is not as difficult for black. 4. Nf3 Bg4 5. Be2 O-O-O Black is putting maximum pressure on white's queen pawn.
6. Be3 Nf6 7. Nb1d2 e6 White's knight move here is the refutation of the Nimzovitch defense! The usual Nc3 gives black equality. 8. c4 Qa5 Black's queen may be better placed on the king side. 9. O-O Qb4 Black is wasting time. 10. Qc1 Be7 Not Qc2 which allows black to trade white squared bishops. The pawn at b2 might be poison.
11. a3 Qa4 12. b4 Nb8 Black saves his knight. 13. Qc3 Rh8f8 14. Bd1 Qa6 15. a4 Qd6 A four pawn phalanx flank attack. Black threatens the pawn at b4. ... And black resigned on move 57.
