Sans Souci Beach

Sans Souci is French for "without care." Legend has it that Robert Louis Stevenson sat under the hau trees here and wrote when he stayed for a time in Hawaii. Locals have recently begun calling it "Kaimana Beach," but we should not name beaches after the hotels near them. The Sans Souci Apartments here are named for the beach.
