2003 April Meeting Demonstration

Paul DeRose demonstrated bonsai techniques with a juniper and a black pine. An accomplished, bonsaiist, Paul is well known in the bonsai community, but this was his first time demonstrating for our club.

Notice the silver duct tape on the plastic container for this black pine. Paul is
about to cut a notch at the junction of the lower branch to facilitate bending.

A large pile of material was removed from the juniper.
