CS 477 Announcements

March 3, 2000: The guest speaker scheduled for Tuesday, March 7, has developed a schedule conflict and will not be able to give the lecture. Therefore there will be no class that day. Please see the updated syllabus page for more information on your presentations in class Thursday, March 9.

Feb 24, 2000: Due to a medical appointment, I will not be on campus Tuesday, March 7. Our TA has a prior commitment that afternoon. Therefore, another graduate research assistant in the USC Center for Software Engineering, Cyrus Fakharzadeh, will be our guest lecturer that day. The topic is project planning.

Feb 16, 2000: The grades for the midterm are recorded under Grades link.

Feb 15, 2000: The Policies page has been modified to soften the late assignments policy.

Jan 31, 2000: The grades for the first homework are recorded under Grades link. They can be collected from SAL 3rd floor by the elevator.

Jan 30, 2000: Some of the lecture slides in Microsoft PowerPoint form have been linked from the Resources page.

Jan 26, 2000: Team assignments have been made.

Jan 21, 2000: For the one-page essay due next week Thursday, you should use a cover sheet for your name and essay title. Here is a MS Word 97 example essay that you might use as a "template." "Template" is in quotes to distinguish it from an MS Word template which is a different kind of software object.
