  • Thinking itself is mental modeling. With the inventions of paper and printing, many models have become standardized. The so-called Copernican Revolution in science was a change from an earth-centric to a solar-centric celestial model. There are many types of models. I will give a brief overview of some of these types, but this lecture will emphasize the object model.
