ICRA '08 Space Robotics Workshops

The Space Robotics Workshop at ICRA '07 in Rome, Italy, was highly successful, and there was a consensus that we ought to follow with a similar workshop at ICRA '08 in Pasadena, California, USA, in May 19-23, 2008. An email survey of potential contributors indicates that there is enough support for two full day workshops, one for planetary rovers being organized by TC Co-Chair Richard Volpe, and one for orbital robotics being organized by TC Chairman Rick Wagner.

As of November 12, 2007, both workshop proposals have been approved the Workshops and Tutorials committee for ICRA '08. The planetary rovers workshop will be on Monday, May 19, 2008, and the orbital robotics workshop will be on Tuesday, May 20, 2008.
