VEX Pan Pacific Championship

On Saturday, December 3rd, Andrea and I attended the VEX Pan Pacific Championship at the Honolulu Convention Center, in support of Kalani High School teams 3008A and 3008G. Over a hundred teams from Hawaii, China, and the mainland competed with VEX robots. The winning alliance was comprised of teams from Mililani High School (two teams) and Iolani High School. The finalist alliance consisted of teams from Mililani High School, Waialua High School (The Hawaiian Kids, team 359), and the mainland team from San Jose, team 254, the Cheesy Poofs. Kalani Robotics won the Create award for their very competitive robots, robot development process as documented in engineering notebooks, programming skills, and community outreach activities.
