2010 Los Angeles Regional

This page documents the participation of Beach Cities Robotics (BCR) in the 2010 Los Angeles Regional FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), March 26 and 27, at the Long Beach Arena.

Dean Kamen's "homework" this year is to bring as many people as possible to the competitions. Please help by printing and distributing our invitation flier (below). This year, BCR is the lead ambasador team for USFirstGirls, so stop by the pits and pick up a purple scarf and a button.

On Friday, March 26, 36th CD Congresswoman Jane Harman's field representative, Rebecca Kim, came to the competition and presented the team with a certificate of Congressional Commendation for our accomplishments, signed by the Congresswoman.

On Saturday, March 27, Democratic candidate for the 36th CD, Marcy Winograd came to the competition with her campaign manager Michael Jay, who took some photographs. Marcy toured the pits and stopped to talk with all the South Bay teams.
