Beach Cities Robotics 2009 FLL Season

Beach Cities Robotics is in its second year of FIRST Lego League (FLL), for students 9 to 14 years of age. It's a great way to get students prepared for the high school team.

The 2009 FLL challenge is "Smart Move," a transportation theme. We took our project presentation board, robots, laptop, spare batteries, and gracious professionalism to Manhattan Beach Middle School for the FLL Qualifying Tournament and took home a Judges Award trophy.

We had a great team and 2009 season and are now preparing to go to Legoland for the big tournament there in 2010.
