Wailupe Valley Rainfall

Aina Haina is a community in the Wailupe Valley ahupua'a (land division extending from the sea to the mountains), east of Kaimuki and west of Hawaii Kai. This page could also be called "Aina Haina Rainfall."

Rainfall Measurement

Rainfall at 672 Lawelawe Street (elevation = 42 feet), in the middle of the developed part of the Wailupe Valley, right by the stream, is recorded daily at 8:00 AM in the spreadsheet linked below (file updated monthly).

June 2011 rainfall was not measured for the full month. Rainfall measurements continue on a daily basis.

Wailupe Stream Pollution

Andrea, Lenore, and I attended a meeting called by Malama Maunalua to discuss the next steps in implementing a plan to mitigate pollution from Wailupe stream. Report.
