This pair was on the Ewa end of the lobby.

The seventh floor of the parking structure has a nice view of Ala Moana Park.

It also has some barbecue pavilians with wet bars and a tennis court. The trees are sea grapes.

Hawaiian Language Study

It occurred to me that Hawaiian syllables have two dimensions, one of vowel timbre, and one of consonant hardness. I thought it would be interesting to make a table of these two dimensions with typical meanings see if there are any patterns. I had conjectured that a meaning vector of relaxation to intensification would result. Sort of. Mahalo to Wehewehe dot org.

Andrea and I invited neighbors Jo and Judy over for dinner on Friday evening, March 15.

We enjoyed watching Andrea prepare the scrumptious dinner.

The shimpaku had been in its growing pot for several years so I had to trim the wound around roots. Photo by Andrea.

Sunday afternoon I joined the Philosophy Meetup on Zoom. The question was would you enter the experience machine if you believed its promises.
My answer is no because the illusions it generates are basically dishonest. Rule: do not participate in unethical activity.
