I signed up for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UH course "Conversations in Consciousness," by Mana Trink, and attended
my first session, via Zoom, on Monday, February 1.

Groundhog Day
As I predicted, Punxutawney Phil saw his shadow so we'll have six more weeks of winter, on Tuesday, February 2.
After dinner Andrea and I went for a walk and I took this evening photo on the way back. Rain predicted for tomorrow.
Stop at the Lanai Lookout
On Friday after lunch, February 5, Andrea and I went for a drive past Makapuu and stopped at the Lanai Lookout.

Zoom Meeting with Lenore
On Tuesday after lunch, February 9, Andrea went to the care home in Kaimuki to set up the Zoom meeting.
Malia, Jan, and Bill joined us first.
Then came Malia and Mike.
Becky came on too.
Lunar New Year
Friday, February 12, is the first day (after the new moon) of the Year of the Ox (my birth year too).

We drove to Manoa Heritage Center in the afternoon to drop off a present for Keala's drive-by baby shower.
People could get their picture taken in the special frame.
Zoom Memorial for Uncle Bob
Saturday, February 13, Andrea and I attended the Zoom memorial for Uncle Bob.
Andrea took this screen shot of the Uncle Bob memorial Zoom meeting. Over 30 people attended. Bob was the brother of Andrea's mom, Lenore.
Andrea ordered lunch from La Tour Cafe for Saturday, so I went down to pick it up near the end of the memorial Zoom for Uncle Bob. It rained earlier.
This is the parking lot of the Aina Haina Shopping Center. The cafe (and Starbucks) is behind me.

Valentine's Day
The Valentine's Fairy came in the night: there were Valentine cards at our breakfast places, a Bug-a-Salt fly shooter, and chocolates.
Andrea went to the care home for a Valentine's Zoom with Lenore.
President's Day
Monday, February 15, is President's Day. Tomorrow is Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras).
State Farm Insurance wants the mileage for our 13 year-old Toyota Corolla for their low-mileage discount, so I emailed this photo to Will.
We drove to Diamond Head after lunch to take a look. Someone built a one world aloha display.
A radio controlled glider was being flown with the winds from the south today.
On Ash Wednesday Andrea shot her first fly with her new Bug-A-Salt.
We went for a walk Wednesday afternoon and I took this photo of the valley wall.
The Wailupe Stream from the Hind Drive bridge. It has gotten dry.
Thursday I downloaded some artwork by Steven Mana Trink, my Conversations in Consciousness OLLI course instructor.

Sunday the 21st Andrea took this photo of me showing a cat video to Emma. She loves the birdies.
Tuesday the 23rd Andrea photographed our michiko hibiscus.
Zoom Meeting with Lenore
We did another Zoom meeting with Lenore on Wednesday afternoon, February 24.

Drive to Makapuu
Andrea and I drove to Makapuu to look at the waves on Thursday afternoon, February 25.

Democratic Party Region One Meeting
Andrea and I attended the Region 1 meeting on Saturday afternoon, February 27. We're in district 18, precinct 3. She's president, I'm treasurer.
We were in this breakout room for district 18. Other regions attended the main meeeting.
Zoom Meeting with Lenore
We did another Zoom meeting with Lenore on Sunday afternoon, February 28.
