By Thursday, November 5, the election outcome was still not decided, with Biden with 264 electoral votes and the buffoon with
214. 270 are needed to win. The cement crew were here as they are every Thursday for grouting the stream's new wall.
Friday afternoon Andrea and I went sign waving for mahalo (thanks) to Biden-Harris voters. Photo by Andrea. I'm way in the back.
We were across from Kalani High School. Mahalo to everyone in the nation who came out to vote for Biden-Harris.
Photos by Amy Monk who organized the sign waving.
Sunday morning, November 8, I flew the Biden Flag in honor of the President-Elect, and Veteran's Day coming up Wednesday, November 11.
The nation still has a huge covid problem. The red states are in denial. Utah deaths are ramping up.

Tuesday morning, November 10, Andrea went to look at a Manoa Senior Care home in Kaimuki. Looks nice. Photo by Andrea.
Thursdays are cement days on the stream.
Completing the cementing at Betty's house.
Our turn now.
Lots of holes to fill. Looks like about a yard of concrete per yard of wall.
Filling in.
People sometimes ask me, "what does it take to be a bonsai master?" So Friday morning I photographed it. That's right, it takes one of these.
I moved it to the glass table under the lychee tree for the pruning work.
I first cut off all the flowers and put them into a champagne flute. Hibiscus flowers last only one day.
After pruning, I painted the trunk shari with lime sulfur and added more soil to the pot. Lime sulfur bleaches the deadwood and prevents rot.
Our friend Elizabeth on the mainland sent this shirt to Andrea and we got it Saturday, the 14th.

That was quick. Ready to go back on the growing bench. Monkeypods can be wired too, but this one doesn't need it this time.
The breadfruit tree is first defoliated.
Then the excess branches are cut off and the remaining branches are wired. The lower branches will need to catch up to the upper one.
Trump has not yet thrown in the towel, but continues to spew lies about election fraud and the campaign continues spurious and incompetent lawsuits that keep getting dismissed for lack of evidence. Every day he delays the inevitable is a diminishment in whatever "legacy" he may have left.
I was notified by ResearchGate today of a new citation of my 1995 international conference paper.

Wednesday afternoon we went to Manoa Senior Care in Kaimuki to drop off a clothes hamper, shower chair, and a new iPad for Lenore,
who will be moving in on Monday.
Andrea fixed a Thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat.
Here is the chef herself. I consulted on the menu.
Friday morning I put out a Christmas flag.
