The Wedding of Eric and Rebecca

Eric and Becky arrived from Connecticut on Thursday evening, January 10.

Eric and Becky gave treats to the cats after Blue Hawaiian cocktails and a dinner of lamb curry.

Friday

Friday afternoon Eric and Becky got their marriage license and then we had mai tais and pupu on the lanai under the lychee tree.

Saturday

We barbecued teriyaki chicken.

Mochi ice cream for dessert along with cupcakes.

Sunday

Eric and I went to the monthly Rainbow Bonsai Club meeting while Andrea and Becky visited Mom and took her for a drive out to Dave's Ice Cream in Waimanalo on Sunday the 13th. After the meeting Eric and I went body surfing at Bellows Beach.

Ryan presided for the first time as President.

After the business meeting Ryan gave his President's demonstration of root on rock style.

He fit the jade tree to a rock collected near Koko Crater.

Monday

Monday morning Andrea took Becky to Manoa Heritage Center (MHC) to make ti garland for the reception tables.

Tuesday

Malia flew in on Tuesday morning. Andrea picked her up at the airport while I stayed home to receive the Terminix technician who killed some termites in a bedroom ceiling.

After lunch Malia helped Andrea pack gift boxes of cookies for wedding guests.

Malia via Facebook: So here I am unpacking my luggage and out pops Grayson's little dinosaur, so I am going to document this
little fella and all the things he's up to in Hawaii. This one is entitled, "Aaahhhh!!! Don't eat the orchids!!!"

Andrea and I took Malia to the beach. Here's a sight we don't see every day: a B2 and two F22s.

Malia walked with me to do pullups and bar dips.

Wednesday

Tom and Kat flew in Wednesday morning.

Early Wednesday morning Malia and Becky went hiking at Koko Crater.

We met Tom and Kat at the airport and then went to La Mariana Sailing Club for lunch.

At La Mariana.

In the afternoon we went to the beach.

Another one.

And another.

I got the drone that Malia gave me for Christmas working and took this photo (hand held). Malia was reading the instruction manual.
