On Tuesday the second we went to the beach and saw that the Aquarium is getting a new slab at their side gate.
Guests arrived between 6:15 and 7:00.
The program started at 7:00. Jessica introduced Mary first.
Lynn Johnson gave background and introduced the singers.
Kelly sang first, a solo from South Pacific.
Sasha sang next, "There is a Place for Us," also from South pacific. That was followed by a duet and more solos.
Our team filled three rows this year.

Andrea and I stayed until 3:30 and then went home to prepare for company for dinner.
Saturday evening we barbecued chicken and played scrabble with Paul and Faye.
Sunday morning Andrea took Mom for a drive around Makapuu to Waimanalo.
They stopped at Dave's Ice Cream.
Sunday afternoon I started a bonsai for Keala at Manoa Heritage Center.

After parking at the Aloha Tower parking lot, we saw this four masted schooner. The Falls of Clyde is on the other side.
We arrived early at Pier 10 and listened to the pre-show lecture at 3:00 PM.

On Monday afternoon I defoliated and unwired my hau tree bonsai.

Friday afternoon we went to the beach. Becky and Andrea went for a walk while I swam.

Friday evening I photographed the Magma Robotics PR team, and one CAD mechanical designer.
The weather held for a while and then we ran inside when it began to rain.
Just before the bonsai club meeting started at the Plant Place in Waimanalo.
After the meeting Larry talked about two of his native trees, an ohia and a lama.
During intermission Becky and Eric sat on the wall for a photo with the cemetary in the backgrouund.

After we drove home, we got ready for the beach where Becky talked with Andrea in the water while Eric went to rent a
stand up paddle (SUP) board.
After swimming I went to do my pullups and bar dips as usual and saw this DLNR officer in his truck keeping an eye on the
fishing boat in the no fishing zone behind the Aquarium. She was watching with binoculars. I see the truck there frequently.
After the beach, Andrea and I went to Kaimuki to buy cakes at Pipeline Bakery. I got some marischino cherry scones for breakfast.

We met at Memoir, a caterer, for tasting at noon.
We had three appetizers.
Then two main courses, kalua pork and fish.
After the tasting we went to the brew pub for beer tasting.
At 5:00 PM we went to Kalani High school where Becky talked to the robotics team.

We couldn't get a table at the Beach Bar at the Moana Hotel so we went to the International Market Place to look around.
We went to the Kaimana Hotel for drinks and pupu. We had the nachos, calamari, and zucchini.
Eric had a tropical itch (with back scratcher) followed by a lava flow.
We went to the beach in the afternoon, Bill riding in the Leaf with Andrea and me and Eric and Becky taking the rented mustang.
Bill went in the water and Eric rented a SUP board and caught a couple of small waves. I caught sexy Andrea in the shower.
Later we had cocktails and pupu on the lychee tree lanai.
We had barbecued chicken thighs done on the Big Green Egg. Cheers!

Everyone was busy. I calculated the buckling strength of the 45 inch lift cylinder. It's good for about 50 pounds which is sufficient.
