Senator Brian Schatz attended and gave us a talk before the show. He knows Senator Tim Kaine and told us about him.
We arrived early at around 5:00 PM and went down to the highway to help with sign waving after 5:30.

In the afternoon we went to the beach after visiting Na Mea in Ward Warehouse. Andrea read on the beach while I did my
gymnastics at the Natatorium hau tree arbor.

After walking back to the cars not needing flashlights, Tai, Phyllis, Andrea, and I went to Dot's Restaurant in Wahiawa for dinner.

The food was good and plentiful but the event was not as well attended as I would have liked.

The event was fun, well attended, and we won a wine basket in the raffle and a bottle of honey wine from the silent auction.
