I walked down to the beach and saw the cypress trees.
It was foggy and cool.
Cafe Carmel is the coffee house where I assembled and charged the camera. I got this photo walking back up the hill.

I drove to Beverly's house for lunch and met Walter and his sons David and Richard.

I drove to Salinas where Walter had said I could stay with them in their hotel room in the Goodnight Inn on Work Street off the
freeway at John Street. However, I got my own room at the Hampton Inn.
We met Walter's friend Doug at Sakura Buffet in North Salinas.
Robert and Michelle joined us in the afternoon. The clock in three hours slow.

Meanwhile, Andrea went to a barbecue at Estelle's house in Aina Haina. The two Dougs manned the electric barbecue.
I went with her again to walk the dog for her client and we went around the Frank Lloyd Wright house.

At lunch time I made a salami and cheese sandwich and gave some to Chrissie, the African Gray parrot.
In the evening Joe and Robby came over and Gary barbecued hamburgers.
I stopped for lunch at the Golden Star restaurant where the family would eat sometimes when I was young.
This is the Presbetyrian Church where I once played basketball in the gym.
Salinas High School, Established 1882, my Mom's, John Steinbeck's, and my alma mater, approached from the south.
The parking lot behind what was then a burger joint, is where I met Camilla Herrera on November 4, 1966, in hers and my senior year
in high school, right where the red car is. I was riding my motorcycle and my friend Ron Brooks called me over to meet her. We rode
around for a while and then I took her home.
We would get burgers at lunch time from the place across Main Street and sit on the steps below the clock tower and eat them.
Where I lived in the fall of 1967 and winter and spring of 1968. This is a house across the street from the high school, and next to
the burger joint where I met Camilla. I had the room in the back on the left.
I visited my friend Mark Humphries Monday afternoon and we chatted for over an hour.
I drove to San Jose in the afternoon and had dinner at Genji, a Japanese steak house on North First street.
Went for a swim in the afternoon on Tuesday. Saw that they are still putting warnings on cars parked blocking the path, to little
apparent effect.
