New Range

The new range we ordered from Lowes was delivered on Wednesday, June 4th. The refrigerator was delivered but it was an inch too deep to bring it into the kitchen. We will have to find a smaller one.

We went to dinner afterwards to celebrate at Gyo Taku.

The next day I went to the beach and saw this monk seal come up on the beach.

The lifeguard ordered everyone 30 feet back and put out cones to mark the line.

It's not every day one sees an endangered seal come up on the beach.

Friday, June 6th, I went by the thrift shop on the way to the beach to see how they were doing.

Andrea was caulking the ceiling and Mary and others were helping.

Andrea and I went on the club tour in Waimanalo on Saturday, June 7th. We met at Jack in the Box at 9:00 AM and then drove to four nurseries: Koba's, Sharon's, Glenn's, and Plant Place.

hula dancers.

Getting back to normal, Andrea finished up her support work to the Thrift Shop.

We went to the beach in the afternoon on Monday, June 23rd, and the wedding industry was in full swing.

Keith led the two classes for elementary school children while Steve, Ron, Sam, Jim, Andrea, Steph, and I assisted.

Yard Work

Andrea and I worked in the yard on Sunday, June 29th. I cut some litche branches and Andrea pruned the mock orange. I potted a few plants and Andrea trimmed foliage around the house.

I noticed this green caterpiller, about three inches long on a pot. The back end has a sort of horn on it

Andrea trims the sweet potato under the koa tree.

Monday morning Andrea went for a walk and took these sunrise photos across the Wailupe Valley.
