Sans Souci Beach

On the second of January, Andrea bought a new swim suit and wore it to Sans Souci beach.

Back view. Beautiful.

Front view. Nice!

Andrea took this photo of me with Diamond Head in the background as we crossed Kapiolani Park to our car.

Koko Crater Hike

On the Third of January, we hung up the icosahedral paper lantern and then hiked again up the Koko Crater trail.

With the lantern. Wind later damaged it so we took it down, planning a more robust design.

I don't usually take pictures of sunsets, but this was an exception.

It got better after the sun went below the horizon.

The waiter offered to take a picture of all four of us.

We got a table at Duke's at the Outrigger to hear Henry Kapono and his band.

I zoomed in to get a shot of Kapono.

Dancers filled the space.

Later we had dinner at Atlantis Seafood, upstairs at the old Waikiki Theater.

Monday was a rainy day and we went to the Bishop Museum.
