We’re still in there. We threw out the UN weapons inspectors, invaded illegally, neglected to keep order, and continue the illegal occupation. We couldn’t afford the invasion either.
We’re still in there, eight years now. Seven GIs killed in one day this week.
They’re still making nuclear weapons and missiles. We seem to have lost influence in that region of the world.
They’re still refusing to let the international community verify that their nuclear program is purely peaceful as they claim.
There is none. Homicidal war, illegal invasion, torture, domestic spying.
Need more stimulus spending. Need to reinstate the tax policies of the 1950s. Need higher capital gains taxes. That will deter speculation and encourage long term investment.
Single payer is “off the table,” but it’s one of the things that will make our businesses competitive again in the world marketplace. Jane Harman claims that she now backs the public option.
No level playing field. Polluters go overseas rather than clean up their act.
