Photos from Light Green Covered Album

These are images scanned from light green covered album kept by my mother, Evelynne Aoki, and obtained from the effects of her husband, Mits, after his death. Thanks to Galen and Sophie Ann Aoki for their gracious kindness. Not all the images have been scanned (in some cases I don't know the people in the photo or they are inferior photos at the same event), and the albums will be given to the custody of my sister Christina who probably knows more about relatives than I do.

The light green album seems to have been assembled from an older source as most of the photos have evidence of having once been pasted onto black paper. There appear to be several missing photos, perhaps removed and given away after this album was assembled by Evelyn.

The "scan" number in the filename is the order in which the photo occurred in the album sequence, and in most cases has little relation to the photo date. The albums may have been assembled from earlier collections. I have tried to present the photos on this page in chronological order as well as I can. In some (rare) cases the date shown is from a hand written notation on the back of the photo, but in most cases the date is the print date, which can be several months after the photo date. Where no date is given, none was available. My email address is at the bottom, so if you can provide information on any photos, please do so.

See photos scanned in February 2014 for more photos from the light green covered album.
